The Digital Manager will develop and execute strategies for delivering engaging experiences across digital channels to continually optimize traffic, usability, and satisfaction to drive business results. This role spans UX optimization, business performance monitoring and analysis across core consumer, employee brand, and franchise development brand pillars. The Digital Manager is responsible for defining, operationalizing, and refining a testing and optimization framework that includes a long-term roadmap with clear success measures. Ongoing monitoring of relevant KPIs and supporting metrics within the digital analytics platform and CMS, competitive and industry analysis, is also required to inform campaign, promotional, SEO, and paid search strategy.
- Provide subject matter expertise in conversion rate optimization, onsite testing, and digital analytics
- Effectively translate digital analytics and other available business performance data into actionable strategies and related tactics with relevant criteria for measurement
- Lead the definition, development, launch, and analysis of A/B or multivariate tests and other optimization campaigns
- Compose content requirements for alignment across channels teams involved in the content development and approval workflow
- Create and maintain digital dashboards for various stakeholder groups using Looker
- Manage tagging, events, and variables in Google Tag Manager (GTM), define new custom metrics, events, and tags in Google Analytics in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external agencies
- Perform ongoing and ad-hoc analysis of traffic, behavior, and conversion patterns and provide actionable recommendations to inform SEO, optimization, and other digital marketing strategies
- Partner with IT and external agencies to apply optimizations discovered through testing activities
- Partner with internal teams and external agencies on augmenting and refining CRO and analytics initiatives
- Demonstrate outstanding oral and written communication, with the ability to articulate clearly
- Demonstrate a strong ability to build relationships
Education, Experience and Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 3+ of experience in onsite testing/optimization and personalization, digital analytics or related role
- Experience with Google Analytics, GA360, Google Tag Manager (GTM) and Looker Studio
- Experience working within project management technology such as Wrike (preferred), Monday.com, Asana, or comparable solution to define and manage project-related work from inception to execution
- Experience in translating complex data and distilling into easily consumed, actionable information
- Strong understanding of fundamental digital marketing programs and technologies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to support findings and recommendations through an objective data-driven lens
- Skilled in contributing as a service-focused, highly organized, and detail-oriented team member
- Prefers a fast-paced work environment and can pivot quickly – must be able to handle multiple tasks with changing priorities in a dynamic setting
- A proactive team player with a love of problem-solving, also the confidence to take the lead and guide projects as necessary
